Anglo-Saxon Sutton Hoo Helmet

This historical Anglo-Saxon helmet style dates back to the 6th Century! Only four examples of this extraordinary Viking helm style exist today in various museums throughout the world. Each helmet surviving in reconstruction restored from the fragments found at regional sites at York, Benty Grange, Wollaston and perhaps the most famous, the burial ship site at Sutton Hoo. Our Anglo-Saxon Sutton Hoo helmet dates late 6th century and is handcrafted by our skilled armorers from 18 gauge steel and accented with brass to emulate the golden highlights of the originals!
